Halaletsang Child &Youth Care Centre (HCYCC), formerly known as the Halaletsang Community Crèche (HCC), was established in 2010 within Lotus Gardens.

The Requests
The leadership received many requests for assistance and also observed the wide-ranging and multifaceted needs within the community. A decision was therefore taken to found an Organisation dedicated to specifically address the various social needs through strategic and empowering interventions that would contribute to community development in an integrated manner.
Halaletsang Child &Youth Care Centre was officially registered in 2018 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO 216-757) with the Department of Social Development.
We recognise the importance of early intervention, preventative work with children and youth as well as family reunification. In order to meet this objectives, we have developed new, innovative programmes which provide relevant services to the communities that we serve.
Our Objectives
•To ensure that every person are enable to live healthy and independent lives in their community for as long as they live
•To promote capacity building programme (home care, short stay, day care and outreach programmes)
•To promote participation of every person to participate in recreation and competitive sport.
•Ensure that the right and needs of all people/person are comprehensively addressed in poverty reduction strategies.

Halaletsang Child & Youth Care Centre is dedicated to improving the lives of the disadvantaged by sowing a seed that will leave a legacy of an educated, happy, healthy and transformed society.
We believe the acquisition of life traits essential for success is likely to serve as a protective barrier, which would insulate our young people from disruptive and negative influences; thus, enabling our youth and children to better focus on immediate academic performance and long-term life goals.
We are determined to fulfil our social responsibility to our communities, working in sync with other stakeholders and harnessing our resources to combat the scourge of impoverishment in mind, soul and body.
